Leather / Patent Leather / Florentic
Cleaning:
Wipe with a dry cotton cloth and apply a neutral or matching shoe polish.
Leather:
For stains, clean gently with a microfiber cloth and micellar water. Afterwards, moisturize using a matching shoe cream or, if unavailable, a neutral moisturizing cream.
Patent Leather:
Scuffs or marks can be cleaned gently with a small amount of milk using a soft cloth.
Suede / Nubuck / Split Leather
Cleaning:
Brush gently with a soft brush or use a firm sponge to remove surface dirt.
For more stubborn stains, try using a pencil eraser. Alternatively, clean with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with cleaning vinegar. Then cover the area with talcum powder and leave it for several days before brushing it off.
If the stain is caused by a dark liquid (such as wine or blood), replace the cleaning vinegar with hydrogen peroxide.
To help protect the material, apply a suitable protective spray or a water-repellent treatment specifically designed for suede and nubuck.
Washable Leather
Suitable for machine washing at temperatures up to 30°C.
